Wash under cool water with a mild dish washing detergent, dry and then the reusable beeswax food wraps are ready to use again. Lasts up to 1 year depending on use and care. Wear and tear can occur with heavy use over prolonged periods of time. When your wrap has come to the end of its life, place in the compost or bury it so it returns to the earth without a trace.
What Sizes do I need?
That depends on what you want items and food you want to wrap. Below is a list of all available sizes and suggested on how they can be used.
Mini – approximately 15 cm. Used for nuts and ends of carrots, cucumbers, zucchinis etc.
XSmall – approximately 20 cm. Used for small cheese, cut in half apples/avocados/capsicums/lemons etc.
Small – approximately 25 cm. Used for Muffins, biscuits, slices, cheese, small rolls, salad bowls.
Medium – approximately 30 cm. Used for sandwiches, bowls, large cheese blocks, small dinner plates.
Large – approximately 35 cm. Used for large sandwiches, bowls, bunches of herbs, dinner plates.
XLarge – approximately 40 cm. Used for large fruit, vegetables, large salad bowls, small platters.
Jumbo – approximately 45 cm. Used for large platters, trays, large loaves, bunches of leafy greens.
Beeswax is flammable so please keep your wraps far away from flames! Do not expose wraps to heat sources such as microwaves, ovens or dishwasher. Keep out of high temperatures above 40C and harsh sunlight. Do not use for raw meats, hot foods or liquids. Some staining may occur with brightly coloured foods like turmeric, blueberries, beetroot etc. Wash before use.
